It seems that many bloggers have recently moved from WordPress to SUBSTACK. I suspect this is mainly because of financial reasons. This is because only taster posts are offered for free browsing , while the full content and any user interaction is only available to paid subscribers. It is also true that hosting a blog on WordPress means that the author must pay an annual hosting fee. The same though is true for SUBSTACK , unless the owner can convince enough users to pay the access fee, thereby potentially then making a profit for the author. This seems almost a bit like a bribe !

Anyway I have a Mac and there is no SUBSTACK version currently available for it. So access to my blog remains free !
